Privacy Policy

The Association of Trans American Friendship (herewith further called ATAF, "transam.org") has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our commitment to privacy to our affiliates and users of this website. This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which ATAF (transam.org) uses, maintains and discloses information collected from its affiliates and users of its website.

Children

ATAF (transam.org) does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. ATAF (transam.org) understands, however, that parents, guardians, or other adults often checking our products/services for family use, including use by minors. Because some information is collected electronically, it may appear to be that of the registered ATAF (transam.org) affiliate or member, and will be treated as such by this privacy policy. If we learn that that a child under the age of 18 has submitted personal information to ATAF (transam.org) we will attempt to delete the information as soon as possible.

Except as outlined below, ATAF (transam.org) will not in any way share this information with a third party unless you specifically authorize such disclosures. ATAF (transam.org) does not sell or rent your contact information to third parties.

Such third party service providers are required to treat all such data with the same degree of care as ATAF (transam.org) and are prohibited from disclosing such data to any other person or party, except as otherwise provided for in this Privacy Policy.

ATAF (TRANSAM.ORG) RESERVES THE RIGHT (SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LOCAL LAW), IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION, TO MONITOR YOUR INQUIRY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE USE OF A AFFILATE'S OR MEMBER'S INQUIRY ACCOUNT, FOR THE PURPOSE OF INVESTIGATING VIOLATIONS OF THIS POLICY OR TO ASSIST WITH CRIMINAL OR CIVIL INVESTIGATIONS.

ATAF (transam.org) may also disclose aggregate, anonymous data based on information collected from users to investors and potential partners. In such cases, only statistical information will be disclosed and personally identifiable data will be kept confidential. In case ATAF (transam.org) is sold, the information collected from users may be transferred to the new owners.

Special Offers and Updates

Our affiliates or members and visitors will occasionally receive newsletters or e-mails with information on products, services, or special offers. Out of respect for the privacy of our visitors and members, ATAF (transam.org) gives them the opportunity to opt-out from receiving these types of communications. To opt out of all non-service related communications please follow the instructions included in the mailing you receive.

Further more, all personal data will be processed based on Consent according to European Union law Art.6(1)(a) GDPR or as legitimate interest in accordance to Art.6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Under no circumstances we do use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you personally.
